“Took you long to get here” Davina snap the moment he got there.
“Am not in the mood for your yapping, tell me where Mitchell is” Damian demanded.
“In her room. When she found out about your marriage, she fainted” Davina said, leading him to Mitchell’s room.
“She loves you a lot Damian and you marrying someone else have got her into that state” Davina said to him but Damian wasn’t paying her any attention.
He took a chair and sat down beside Mitchell bed, taking hold of her hand.
Mitchell chose that moment to wake up and on seeing Damian, she sat up, wrapping her arms around his neck to give him a tight hug.
“How can you marry her? How can you do that when I still love you…I can’t live without you Damian, I just can’t” Mitchell said, sobbing her eyes out.
“You will have to, Mitchell. You will have to carry on with your life just as I have done with mine. I like her Mitch, I like June a lot and I don’t see myself leaving her for anyone else”
“I came here solely to tell you to move on with your life, am not worthy of your tears and I know that soon enough, you will get a good man who will love you for you. Am glad you are doing fine, June is a bit unwell, I need to go back to her” Damian said, getting out of the chair.
“See you around” He added before leaving the room while a angry Davina followed suit.
“Is that all you have to say? Is telling her to find someone else the best thing you can do?” Davina ask as she follow him outside.
“Mitchell deserve someone who love her and I am not that guy. So quit with your yapping, it’s begining to annoy me”

“Enough! Where’s Ronald?” Damian ask after shunning her off.
“When we couldn’t get through to you, he left to see you. You guys probably must have missed each other” Davina said and when Damian left, She return to Mitchell room.
“Why didn’t you try to stop him? He just said goodbye to you” Davina yell at her friend.
“He did say goodbye but I didn’t” Mitchell reply, wiping away the rest of her tears.
“Damian will be mine….Ronald said it to me this morning, I trust my brother and I
am sure that he will do his best to give me what I want… He has never failed in doing that” Mitchell told her friend.

June had just finish having her bathe when she heard the door.
Quickly, she tied her towel and left the bathroom only to see Ronald there.

“I think he went to see your sister” she said.

“Well….I,er, better leave you to get dress” he said and made for the door but then he stop and went back to her, standing too close for June’s comfort.
“I have a proposal” Ronald began.

“To be precise, how much do I have to pay for you to be mine” he let out in a rush that June almost miss the last thing he said but she heard it and that left her feeling stun…..
