After making sure there are zero eyes on her, Rain slithered into the office.

She met Fred seated, but she still didn’t smile before settling in front of him.

“The cash for your new leg is ready” he smiled, opening the briefcase containing the cheque.

Rain only rolled her eyes

“What’s going on?” Fred asked worriedly, standing up to come to her.

“It’s Isaac. I had him at the tip of my fingers throughout our three years here, but now Hyce is getting in the way” she said, biting herself.

“The last scene I checked, you liked Banks ” Fred pulled her up

“But Isaac is still mine. It doesn’t matter if I like him or not but the moment he befriended me, he became my toy! I won’t let Hyce have him. Darn, there are lots and lots of guys to eliminate” she hissed, and Fred smiled.

“And I’ll get them all out of the way for you, you only have to watch me. I have a plan, and what happened this morning is only a preamble” he said

“I heard she passed out!” She laughed, and a chuckle cracked in Fred’s throat.

“Of course, and she’s only in the beginning. I’m yet to start, and I’m grateful you’re my daughter” he said, and Rain hugged him.

“Should we eat out tonight? Tiramisu?” She said.

“Of course” he grinned.

Nina hasn’t been able to attend any of her classes since she arrived with Sabrina in the morning.

She has been carrying Sabrina’s bag around at her order, and she didn’t sit at all.

Since Sabrina is a masters student, her class is at the far heart of the campus, so the walk there is a bit tiresome, but it’s like Sabrina is on a mission to wear her out.

Even during her classes, Nina was forced to stay by the door with her bag and wait.

She almost lost her legs, and she was already happy after the last class, only for Sabrina to say she’s going for lunch at the cafeteria.

No choice, Nina followed her, and almost everyone they met greeted Sabrina admiringly, fawning over her style and charisma.

And at every greeting, she smiles this arrogant smile.

It’s like she feeds off their greetings.

They were about to enter the cafeteria when they came across Conrad, and he smiled when he beheld Sabrina.

“Hey! You attend this school?” Sabrina beamed, hugging him so tight.

Conrad openly touched her @ss, and Nina had to just look away.

“Yeah, always.” Conrad replied as they broke the hug.

“Of course, bîtch!” Rebekah shot again, and Rebekah didn’t get a warning before Sabrina slapped her.

Conrad could have stopped the slap, but he choose not to.

“RIP” Rebekah muttered murderously, grabbing Sabrina’s neck.

Sabrina’s eyes rolled up as she slammed her back on the wall, bringing her down and hitting her face with her heel.

“Bekah!!!” Nina screamed as Sabrina began bleeding.

The opening of the door made her stop, and everyone turned to see him coming… Levi.

“Let’s go out” she told him.
The woman complied, but Rebekah had issues taking Mr. Carson.
“I can’t leave my daughter with this devil” he shot, looking at Levi with disapproval.
“Sir! She’ll be fine” Rebekah cautioned, and he huffed before following her.
Sybil was the last to leave, and when it’s just the two of them, Emory had time to take him in.
He’s wearing a slightly ripped jean pants and a black shirt, no jacket, and his hair looks as majestic as it always is.
He’s not even making any attempt to come closer, but his eyes are on her, so she sat up in bed.
Though her eyes are turning,, she still got down and started walking up to him.
It felt like years before she could arrive, and a little before she’d get to him, she staggered weakly and fell on his chest, getting a full whiff of his clean scent.
He didn’t even try to catch her, but he didn’t move away either.
His chest is as solid as a giant’s, and she almost gave into the temptation to continue staying on the warm surface, but she looked up anyways, her eyes burning and watery.
He looks like a rock, and his tallness isn’t helping things.

“You didn’t catch me…you weren’t beside me when I woke up too. Xhen” she sniffled, holding his hands.
They’re much bigger than her own.
He said nothing, just looking down at her like his doll.
