GRAND CASINO, 5PM*
Levi’s motorbike drove roughly into the property, the exhaust mixing with his natural scent in the air.
Even after he parked and came out of the car, his helmet remained intact on his head.
He used the iron door and stepped on the stairs which led to the underground chamber.
It’s starting to get heated as the gamblers are already gathering, and he had to remove his helmet cos of heat.
His aura is unmistakable.
Immediately the gamblers saw his face and recognized him as the son, they stopped their chats, and quietness happened.
Some even bowed their heads, unable to look him in the eye till he left the outer room.
He entered Master X’s office and met him talking with Hazzan.
Hazzan had to leave immediately, and the man looked up.
“Seeing you here again is apparently because you heard about the change in plans. How do you feel having Chadwick as your sudden brother, and how do you feel having him on the throat of that girl” he said emotionlessly.
“You must have forgotten the part where I said I’m done protecting or watching her for you” Levi replied, his brows dipping.
“Will you really be able to do that?” Master X stood, grabbed his walking stick before walking to him slowly.
Levi never moved an inch till he arrived and stood facing him.
“You’ve been watching her for three years. You’ve been her shadow even without her own knowledge, tell me how you’d be able to watch her get hurt” he said and laughed.
“I watched myself get hurt a lotta times, and I liked it. She’s not my priority, and I fuΓ§king mean it” Levi replied.
The man smiled with his eyes as Levi walked out of the office.

7PM, CARSON’S MANSON*
Emory had quite a large lunch at school, so she had to skip dinner.
She’s in her room, standing by her window and staring at her phone screen.
Levi finally sent the location, but she’s starting to wonder if the guy is ok in the head.
It’s like thirty minutes drive from this place, and she’s not going anywhere… or so she thought.
The chilled breeze of the cold September night was brushing her face as she texted him back.
Emory: There’s no way I’m coming. I get that I owe you a favor, but isn’t this too much?
She sent that and was about to close her window when her eyes caught dark figures not far from it.
She might not be seeing them well cos of the darkness, but she figured out they’re six, and they’re wearing black, all of them.
Her heart nearly got hooked in her throat as she stretched her hand to the wall beside her.
She turned on the light beside her window, and immediately she saw them clearly, her heart flew and sweat broke in her cleavage.
They’re wearing black and white masks, hiding their faces as they all made her window their target.
The Titans!
She quickly shifted back and went to her vanity table to get a long hairpin.
She went back to the window, but they’re gone.
Her eyes widened.
What were they doing? How did they even enter the compound?
What are they planning?
She got her phone, and the first thing she saw was Levi’s reply.
Criminal: I’ll come get you from your house myself, I don’t fuΓ§king bluff.
Maybe she should go after all.
She unconsciously kept the hairpin in her jacket pocket and got her car key before rushing out of the room.
She ran past her parents out of the house, jumped in her car and drove out of the mansion.
Why is this happening tonight of all nights?
The girls group chat is so lively, and all the girls are online except her.
Her fate must be cruel.
Thanks to the fact that she has enough gas, she got to the location faster than expected.
It’s a Loft in the middle of a dark silent street, surrounded with pine trees completely.
She rushed to the door and made to push it open, but it opened by itself, and she rushed in.
The loft is dark, and she almost fell.
She had to hold the wall.
“Levi?” She called out.
“FΓ»ck… Banks!” She corrected, and the lights came on almost immediately.
Levi is standing beside a table at the center of the big room, and his head is down, he’s arranging a revolver gun.
“I think The Titans came to my place” she said
“Aren’t you here for the favor?” He faced her, the deepness of his voice hitting her.
“What do you want?” She replied.
“Russian roulette” he said.
“You want me to play Russian roulette with you? Are you crazy?” She scoffed.
“You can’t? We can wrap up the hide and seek game with it, plus the favor ” he replied, looking her up and down.
“But…you…
He already threw her the gun before she could talk further, and she held her breath as the cold metal landed in her right hand.
She threw it back almost immediately, and it landed on the ground.
“Stop! It’s not funny” she paled out.
“Chose a safe word to say when you want me to stop” he said coldly, picking up the gun.
Ok, he’s fuΓ§king serious.
“Red” she replied after a second thought, and he threw the gun back.
This time, she caught it, trying hard not to shake.
The Loft lights began flickering.
Darn, this is starting to look like the begging of a friggin horror movie.
“There are four empty cylinders and two loaded ones. Slide your pointer finger under the trigger and support it with your second hand. You might wanna hold your breath before pulling the trigger” he instructed.
She immediately positioned her finger, holding her breath as he stood in front of the gun like a devil.
Is he so eager to die?
What’s really going on in his head???
Her throat was shaking as she slid her hand under the trigger, and like he advised, she held her breath.
Good gawd…
She pulled the trigger, and luckily, the gun sounded emptily.
No bullet in that cylinder.
She released her breaths and gulped as he came closer to take the gun from her.
It’s his turn, and she nearly began peeing herself.
What if there’s a bullet in the next cylinder?
What if she dies?
Is he gonna bury her without anyone’s knowledge.
Various thoughts filled her head as he took three calculated steps back and pointed the gun at her.
He looks like carnage itself, like a destruction waiting to happen.
He looks like death.
She imagined a bullet coming out of the gun barrel into her head, and her panick increased.
No…
She can’t…
She needs to say the safe word, but she can’t even remember.
What was it again?
“Blue!” She quickly said, but it’s incorrect.
“Pink!” She shouted, but he still kept pointing the gun.
“Yellow!!” She said loudly, but that was interrupted by a gunshot.
He shot the gun.
Bullet flew out this time, and she lost all her breaths when it whizzed past her, going into the metal wall behind her.
She staggered, the shock nearly making her faint.
She could feel her heart freezing.
All blood drained from her body, and she looked up with shaky lips and limbs, his eyes meeting Levi’s dark ones.
Impossible anger surged through her, and she was unaware of when she got the hairpin from her pocket.
She began taking wide steps to him, and the flickering lights got worse at each step she took.
Levi stood his ground till the angry fox got to him, and without waiting any damn second, she sank the sharp pin into his solid chest.
His blood sprinkled on her face, and his black shirt got soaked with redness, even her hand got stained.
She looked up ruthlessly, still holding the pin to his chest as their eyes met, again.
“I’m not your toy. For the rest of your life, don’t you ever try this again, or I’ll kill you” she muttered.
He stayed silent for a minute, staring back at the fire burning viciously in her eyes, then his next words came…
“Kill me, baby”
