π« My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY THREE: β£οΈ
Lucy got pregnant for me at the early stage of our relationship. It was as a result of our first sexxual encounter. When she broke the news of her pregnancy to me, I felt as if the world was coming to an end. The truth was that neither she nor I was ready for the pregnancy. So we had to ab0rt the baby. The act was on mutual agreement. It was a difficult decision that we had to take.
The baby was flushed out successfully. But the pains were severe. I supported Lucy through those difficult times.
But what I seemed not to understand was if God was now punishing me for my past sins or was it the wish of the enemies coming to pass in my marriage.
How could I be married for the past seven years with nothing to show? Not even a pregnancy not to talk of miscarriage.
Who have I offended? Although I know very well that I have offended God and my elder brother. But everyday of my life, I have asked God for the forgiveness of my sins. Or does it mean my own sins were unforgivable?
Medically, the two of us were sound enough to bear children. Lucy was not barren nor was I not productive. Then what could be the problem?
Just like my parents, Susan didnβt attend my wedding. On my wedding day, she faked sickness just to abscond from the special occasion.
As a matter of fact, Susan could be the one behind my years of childless marriage. I always thought of that. Because she surfaced with threats after my wedding.
βI am not going to congratulate you because you have not won. So donβt rejoice yet. Although you may be married, but you will definitely not enjoy the marriage without your parentβs blessings.β I remember her telling me via the phone.
βSatan, get you behind me. You are nothing but a loser. I am enjoying my marriage and I will continue to enjoy it to the fullestβ, I replied.
βTelling me you are enjoying your marriage is nothing but a lie from the pit of he||. Whatβs marriage without a child? Steve, I promise you that the cry of a child will never be heard in your household,β she added.
βBack to senderβ, I rebuked her. βSusan, I know that you are ev|l. But let me disappoint you, your evil plan against my marriage will not prosper. You will definitely be put to shame, evil womanβ, I said before ending the call.
Susan was really leveraging my marital dispute with my parents to threaten my marriage. She was a big traitor hiding under that umbrella to unleash her ev|ls against my marriage.
Meanwhile our marital plight had earned us several mockery from people most especially from Susan who always called my wife a barren and a w|tch. She also accused my wife of eating up her children in her womb.
My wife has been the one at the receiving end. The childless issue has turned her into a shadow of her former self. She doesnβt sleep at nights; her pillow, always soaked with tears.
I have always done my best to console her but it seemed like my best was not good enough to give her even a little peace.
βHoney, I am not complaining. So please stop killing yourself. God’s time is the best. Letβs just believe in God. One day, He will surely turn our predicament aroundβ, I would console her.
βHoney, you wouldnβt understand what I am going through. People are making a mockery of me. They are calling me names. That I am a w|tch and have sacrificed my womb to the coven. Thatβs why I am unable to give you a child..β, she said while shedding tears bitterly.
βYou are my beautiful wife. You are not a w|tch. Neither are you barren. We have to wait for Godβs time. He will surely wipe off our tears someday,β I consoled.
βWhen will that day be? I am tired of peopleβs mockeries. I want to carry my child. I want to hear the cry of a baby in this house..β she cried.

Meanwhile my mother came to Lagos on a holiday. It was all Susanβs arrangements. She wanted the old woman to come and stay with her, especially now that her husband traveled on a business trip to China.
My mother has spent a week in Lagos already before my wife could muster the courage for us to go welcome her.
It was on a Sunday we finally paid her a visit. When we arrived at my brotherβs house, we were partially welcomed. Only If eyes could kill, my mother would have killed my wife with eyes because she resented the fact that I came with her.
Moments later, the twins came into the sitting room and greeted us.
βTwins, how are you?β, Lucy asked, smiling as the children were playing with her.
“We are fine ma..β
Amidst my wife’s conversation with the twins, my mother interrupted them.
βSo you are fond of children and you couldnβt give birth to your own? Other peopleβs children are good to play with while your own are good to be eaten, ehn? Only if at all you have a womb..β my mother was yelling to my wife.
βMama, stop insulting my wife like this. Enough is enoughβ, I had to intercept.
βEnough of what, eh? Anyway, itβs not your fault. She has bew|tched you thatβs why you cannot think like a man. Thank God I have finally come to Lagos. Steven, you see that spell you are under, I must break it before I go..β
βMama stop insulting her. For God sake sheβs my wife! Stop it..β, I was yelling when Susan interrupted me.
βMr man shut up! Look at who they are trying to save from the hand of this w|tch and you are here saying nonsenseβ, she said.
I looked at Lucy and her eyes were already clouded with tears. I felt very bad. I had to signal her for us to go.
βMama, we are here to greet you but itβs obvious you are not happy to see us. So, we are goingβ, I said and stood up to join my wife who was already going in a very big shame.
βYou people should better prepare for my coming because my son must be liberated..β, I heard her saying while we were leaving the house.
Five days later.
I came back from work and looked at my mother in my house. I was really surprised to see her because nobody knew she was coming. That day my wife did not go to work. She was very sick. Her crying and sleepless nights were what contributed to her sickness.
βAh, mama, is that you?β, I said in surprise as I came in and looked at her standing akimbo beside the entrance door.
My mother must have done something bad. Because the look on her alone has said it all. You need to see how she was breathing and sweating profusely like a wrestler who just won a match.
βMy son, I am the one. Or has the charm she used on you blind your eyes not to recognize your mother again?β, she said.
βMama I hope you have not come here to make trouble?..β
βAnd so what?β, she interrupted.
βMama look, if you are here for your troubles, better be going back o!β, I said.
βSteven, are you indirectly sending me away from your house?β, she asked.
βMama I didnβt say so. But if you don’t behave well, then I will be left with no option than to send you away from my house,β I made it clear to her.
βYou know why I will not take you seriously? Because you donβt know what you are doing. That w|tch has used her magic powers on youβ, she said.
βMama please donβt start again. I am begging you in the name of God donβt start this drama again, pleaseβ, I begged.
βShut up onye eriri-eri(bew|tched someone) But I have come to set you free from that w|tchβ, she added.
βWhy are your bags still outside here? Lucy didnβt show you to your room?β, I asked.
βYou mean that w|tch? Anyway, she came but I didnβt allow her to touch any of my things. I was waiting for you to come back and show me my roomβ, she said.
βMama stop calling my wife a w|tch,β I heaved a heavy sigh before continuing. βBy the way, where is she?β, I asked.
βWho?β, She asked back.
βMy wifeβ.
βYou mean that w|tch? I have given her a technical knockout. She must be dead by nowβ, she said, boasting.
I said it. I smell something fishy. This old woman must have done something bad to my wife amid her sickness. I said to myself while rushing to our bedroom.
When I got to the room, unfortunately, my wife was lying unconscious on the bed. In fact, she was half dead.
