“Yes, Daisy, I’m really going to blame you for the state my brother is in right now,” Iris snapped.
“But…why?” Daisy stammered.
“Just look at yourself, Princess. You’re really down. Always locked up in this room. Do you think my brother will be happy with this when he wakes up and sees you in this state?” Iris snapped again.
“But I can’t leave him here all alone. I can’t go to Japan,” Daisy said, almost in tears.
“You said he’s alone, but he has me, Mrs. Sara, and the rest of your friends with him,” Iris said.
“I…I…” Daisy stammered.
“Look, Princess, you need to think about this. And I’m giving you just 30 minutes. If you don’t change your mind, trust me, I won’t change mine,” Iris said and walked out.
“Just think about it, sweetheart,” Barbie said and walked out.
“But…how can I leave Darren all alone here?” Daisy muttered, breaking down in tears.
Iris and Barbie walked downstairs together. Immediately, Mrs. Sara, Clayton, Ricky, and Summer got up. Barbie and Iris walked up to them.
"Where are the rest?" Barbie asked.
"They all went to do a small shopping for Daisy since she is leaving for Japan," Summer said.
"Oh gosh, she hasn't agreed, and they all went?" Barbie asked.
"You mean she didn't agree to it?" Mrs. Sara asked.
"I gave her 30 minutes to think about it, Mrs. Sara. I don't know if she will listen to me or overlook me because I'm a little girl," Iris said.
"She doesn't consider you a little one, Iris; she really sees you as her own sister," Barbie said.
"I hope so, and I hope she really did listen to me," Iris said with a sad look.
"Come on, baby. Don't be sad. I'm sure she will be fine," Mrs. Sara said, and Iris hugged her.
"I miss her, I miss her jovial smile. She should be cool again, that way I won't need to miss my brother much," Iris said, sobbing slowly.
"Really?" someone said from behind, and it turned out to be Daisy. She was wearing a short purple gown and had her hair tied up in a ponytail. She was not wearing makeup, yet she was so beautiful. Everyone smiled, happy to see Daisy dressing up so neatly without Barbie's help. But someone was missing β her genuine smile.
"Princess?" Iris muttered.
"Why are you all staring at me like you saw a ghost?" Daisy said.
Immediately, Iris and Barbie rushed to hug her.
"Sweetheart, you're back?" Barbie said, tearfully.
"What do you mean 'back,' Barbs? I was always here, right?" Daisy said, smiling.
Immediately, they all broke the hug.
"I'm sorry for talking to you rudely earlier, Princess; I even called you by your name," Iris said.
"No, don't be, Iris; you made me think about it. Right now, I would love to go to Japan and make Darren proud," Daisy said.
"Really?" They all screamed.
"Oh gosh, my ear drums are hurting like hell because of your screams," Daisy said, laughing.
"You made a great decision, Daisy; I'm sure you won't regret this," Mrs. Sara said, hugging her.
"Thank you, Mrs. Sara," Daisy replied, smiling.
"It's so cool talking to you again, Teddy," Ricky said, pulling her ponytail.
"Hey, don't call me that. I don't want Summer using me as dinner tonight," Daisy joked.
"Oh no, I'm fine with that name," Summer said, hugging Daisy.
"Why are you all dressed up, Daisy?" Barbie asked.
"Are you suffering from memory loss, Barbs? I think we should go to Skylight Company for more confirmation and then sign up," Daisy said.
"Really? Are you really going to go, Daisy?" Barbie asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Of course, Barbs. I'm going," Daisy replied, rolling her eyes playfully.
"Awwww, I'm so happy, Princess! I love you," Iris exclaimed.
"I love you too," Daisy said, smiling at her.
"Let's get going then," Barbie said.
"Why are you in a hurry to send me to Japan?" Daisy asked, laughing.
"To make your dreams a reality," Barbie replied.
"Crazy bestie," Daisy muttered.
"Yes, I know. Now let's go," Barbie said, pulling Daisy along as they walked out of the house.
"It's so good to see she's back to herself," Ricky said.
"Something's missing," Summer said.
"What's that?" Iris asked.
"It's her smile, dear. It's not genuine enough," Mrs. Sara said.
"She really loves your brother. I'm so happy she's giving Japan a try," Iris said.
"Yes, it will help her a lot. Let's just pray Darren wakes up soon," Mrs. Sara said, sighing.
As Daisy and Barbie got down from the car, a few people who saw Daisy quickly ran to her.
“OMG, it’s Daisy!”
“AIZyyyyyyy, it’s her!”
“I’m a big fan of yours! Can I get an autograph, please?”
“Oh fuck, I forgot you’re so popular now,” Barbie said.
“Wow, I’m really so popular! Daisy muttered
“Look at her skin,
” no makeup, yet she’s so beautiful.”
Immediately, security guards walked up to Barbie and Daisy and guided them until they entered the company. They walked them to a VIP room for singers and songwriters like themselves. They met the Lees and a young woman there.
“Oh, Daisy Jones, you’re here. Please, have a seat,” Mrs. Lee said.
“Thank you,” Daisy said and sat down alongside Barbie.
“We didn’t know you would show up; we could have helped you with personal guards,” the woman said.
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Mrs. Abigail Danny, the owner of Skylight Company,” Mrs. Abigail said
“Oh, nice meeting you, Mrs. Danny. I know you very well. I follow you on every social media page. Your company is the best for young singers and songwriters like me. I’m so sorry; I didn’t know I’m quite popular now. I would have also prepared ahead,” Daisy said in a rush.
“It’s okay, Miss Jones, I’m sorry, but there is a problem,” Mrs. Danny said.
“What is the problem, ma’am?” Daisy asked.
“Though I don’t know your reply, but I’m sure it’s positive. You won’t be staying in Japan for just a year, Miss Jones. You will be there for five years,” Mrs. Abigail said.
“What???” Barbie yelled.
“Why is it five years, ma’am?” Daisy asked.
“For you to be more professional, you need a lot of training. So you will be under this company until you are good to go. Just a five-year contract, and you will be fine on your own,” Mrs. Abigail explained.
Daisy was quiet for a while, then she closed her eyes tightly. She remembered what Darren told her the night she mistakenly kissed him. “Always go for the best, Daisy, because you are the best. Make your dreams a reality, so I can be proud of you.” Daisy smiled painfully as she opened her eyes.
“Sure, ma’am. I’m ready to sign up for this contract,” Daisy said suddenly, and Barbie’s eyes widened, but she smiled.
“Okay then. Here are the documents you need to sign. You will be leaving for Japan tomorrow at 10 a.m.,” Mrs. Danny said, handing Daisy the documents.
Daisy went through them carefully, smiling, and was about to sign when Barbie suddenly held her hand.
“What about her safety? Will she be fine in Japan?” Barbie asked.
“Trust us, Miss Campbell. She is really safe with us. You can check out our past contracts for more confirmation,” Mrs. Lee said.
“I have been following them for years now, Barbie. They are legit. I asked us to come over here because I want to know if it’s really from the company and not a scam. This is a big chance I have been waiting for all my life,” Daisy said, and Barbie nodded slowly.
“Okay then, Daisy. Go for it,” Barbie said.
Daisy smiled and then signed the contract.
“We will arrange for the best personal guards to pick you up tomorrow,” Mrs. Danny said.
“No, I will be taking her to the airport myself,” Barbie said.
“No problem, Miss Campbell,” Mrs. Lee said.
“Oh no, she said it before, but I couldn’t correct her. Don’t use that surname along with my name. Just call me Barbie,” Barbie said.
“Barbie Jones,” Daisy said, smiling.
“Yes, Barbie Jones,” Barbie said, hugging Daisy.
” trust me I won’t spare you all, even though she gets hurt by mistake. barbie said
“she will be okay Miss Jones barbie. Mrs Lee said and Barbie smiled.
“Better….. Don’t try a shit. I might be the end of your company. barbie muttered and daisy rolled her eyes.
“So crazy. Daisy muttered under her breath.

Next day, 9 a.m.
Daisy walked downstairs with Barbie, carrying two suitcases. Ricky, Summer, Clayton, Sage, Elle, Jayden, Rusty, Iris, and Mrs. Sara were waiting downstairs for them.
As soon as they reached the bottom, Iris ran to hug Daisy tightly.
“I will miss you, Princess,” Iris muttered.
“Sweetie, I will miss you too,” Daisy said.
“I know we all wanted you to go, but five years is too much,” Clayton muttered.
“Why are you all putting on a sad look like I’m going there for years, huh?” Daisy said.
“We will miss you, Daisy,” Sage said.
“Yes, we will,” Rusty said.
“Come on, guys, it’s just five years. Before you know it, it’s all gone. I’ll be back soon,” Daisy said.
Ricky moved close to Daisy and messed with her hair a little.
“Heyyyy, why are you doing that?” Daisy snapped at him.
“Because I will miss you, Teddy,” Ricky said.
“I will miss you too, cutie,” Daisy said and hugged him.
The craft feeling isn’t there. Maybe it was fate playing with them anyway, Daisy thought, breaking the hug.
“We have to leave now, Daisy. Remember, you’re still going to the hospital to see Darren,” Barbie said, and Daisy nodded slowly.
“I will be a big girl before you’re back. I’m sure you will also become a more mature woman,” Iris said, and Daisy smiled.
“You’re a big girl already; you’re six years old yet so smart,” Daisy said.
“Five years later, I will be… 11 years old. I will be even smarter,” Iris said, and Daisy smiled again.
“Of course, sweetie,” Daisy muttered.
“Take care of yourself over there, dear,” Mrs. Sara said.
“Of course, Mrs. Sara,” Daisy said, almost in tears.
“Come on, we have to go now,” Barbie said, pulling the suitcase and walking out.
“Goodbye, guys,” Daisy said, and they all hugged her. Daisy followed Barbie out immediately.
“Do you all think Barbie is okay? She’s so used to Daisy. I think she’s keeping her tears,” Summer said.
“Yes, she is,” Clayton said sadly.
