“Hey, it’s me, guys,” Darren said.
“Why would you kidnap us, Darren?” Daisy asked.
“I had to,” Darren replied. “You guys won’t understand everything fully. But there’s one thing I can assure you – Daisy is not safe out there.”
“She’s not safe out there?” Barbie asked, concern etched on her face.
“What do you mean by that?” Daisy asked
“Daisy, the people who killed your parents are still after your life,” Darren said, “Now, tell me what happened to your parents.”
Daisy hesitated. “We had an accident… but I think I was saved.”
“Do you remember how you were saved?” Darren asked, his eyes locked on hers.
“No, I only remember being with my aunty at the hospital,” Daisy replied.
Darren took a deep breath. “I’ll say this to you, Daisy – though I can’t prove it yet, Elisa’s mom is not your aunty. She’s part of the plan to get rid of you.”
Daisy’s eyes widened in shock. “What?” she whispered.
“I knew that woman was up to no good,” Barbie said,
“How can you say that, and why should I believe you?” Daisy asked,
“I’m a secret agent, guys. I shouldn’t be telling you this, but I have to. This is my underground house. You all are going to be an emotional spot to get to Daisy if I had kidnapped her alone.” Darren said
“What, dude? You’re a secret agent?” Clayton said, and Barbie rolled her eyes.
“Shut up, Clayton, we’re busy talking about something serious here,” Rusty said.
“What do you mean we can be an emotional spot to get to Daisy?” Summer asked.
“Okay, listen to me, guys. Daisy is not really safe out there. Have you guys ever wondered who could have pushed Daisy into the pool?” Darren asked.
“Elisa could have done that,” Barbie said. “She’s up to no good. You clearly said they’re not related to Daisy, so she should be behind it.”
“I think Lovie can also be behind it,” Summer said. “That girl gives me the creeps whenever I’m around her.”
“I’m not sure about who could have done that to me, but I know what Elisa can do. She can definitely do that to me,” Daisy said.
“You’re all wrong,” Darren said.
“What?” Summer asked.
“Yes, someone unexpected did that, and I have proof,” Darren said.
Suddenly, Iris came into the room. “Why are they still tied up, brother? You should free them.”
“What are you doing here, Iris? I told you we all wanted to talk, and you shouldn’t be here,” Darren said.
“I feel I should be here, brother. I think Princess must have surely misunderstood you,” Iris said and smiled.
“Dude, you have a sister,” Clayton said.
“She’s so small,” Summer said.
“Why is she here? Why are you keeping her here also? She should be at school, right,” Daisy said.
And Iris walked up to Daisy, loosened the rope tied on her hands and feet, and smiled at Daisy.
“First of all, I’m not a little girl.” She glared at Summer. “I’m six years old, so I’m not a little girl.”
Then she faced Daisy. “I know you’re Princess. Darren has talked about you a lot.”
“Iris,” Darren called out.
“You’re really not safe out there. I’m not too. I was kidnapped, but Darren saved me somehow. My brother is only trying to protect you all,” Iris said.
“Hey girl, I think you should free us too,” Rusty said. Iris rolled her eyes and freed them all from being tied up.
“You mean you were kidnapped?” Daisy asked.
“Yes, and that bad man hurt Darren. He said he would hurt you too. And he threatened Darren. That’s why I’m here,” Iris said.
“You’re here all alone?” Daisy asked.
“No, I have a nanny, and Mrs. Sara is also here with me,” Iris said. Daisy had a flash again, but it was still unclear.
Darren noticed and moved close to her. “Are you okay?” Darren asked, and Daisy nodded her head.
“We can’t just be here, we need to act fast,” Ricky said.
“Yes, we should work together. I think Daisy is really not safe. I mean, who on earth is so cruel that they kidnapped a six-year-old girl?” Summer asked.
“What are we going to do, Darren?” Rusty asked.
“I don’t know yet, but you need to see something now,” Darren said.
Darren played a video of how Daisy was pushed into the pool by Dove and Lovie. They couldn’t believe what they were watching.
“What?!” Daisy said, staggering backward. “Dove? I’m not surprised about Lovie. But Dove?”
“She is so sweet and…” Summer said, trailing off.
“Wait, wait, who the fuck is Godfather? I mean, what on earth are Lovie and Dove talking about? She even referred to herself as ‘slow poison,'” Clayton said.
“Godfather is the man who got me kidnapped. He is so scary,” Iris said.
“Leave Iris, we all need to talk,” Darren said.
Iris faced Daisy. “Don’t doubt Darren, he is not lying to you, Princess. See me please after this boring and scary meeting.” Iris said, winking at Daisy, and then she walked away.
“We can’t just be here, though everything is not clear to us, but we need to do everything to expose them all. Daisy can’t be kept in here for a long time,” Clayton said.
“Yes, your stupid childhood friend tried to kill my Daisy,” Barbie yelled.
“We have known her for a long time, we didn’t expect her to be this way,” Rusty said, and Barbie rolled her eyes.
“Darren, who are my enemies?” Daisy asked.
“You have a lot of enemies, Daisy – Elisa, Elisa’s mom, Dove, Lovie, Godfather. He has a lot of people working for him. I have been trying to expose him, but we need to have a nice plan,” Darren said.
“Do you have anything in mind now?” Ricky asked.
“Not yet, I’m so sure. Godfather will freak out once he knows Daisy is missing. We have to let him take a step. You all should go rest now. We will have another meeting by 10 pm. I would have thought of something else, and let’s see if Godfather or Slow Poison will call me,” Darren said.
“Okay. Thank you so much, Darren. You are doing a lot for Daisy,” Barbie said.
“Uhmmm, he likes her,” Clayton said.
“You two are not only crazy but lousy too,” Rusty said.
“Shut up, Rusty,” Clayton and Barbie said together.
“Hmm, I will shut up,” Rusty said.
“I should call my dad,” Summer said, and Darren’s eyes widened.
“No, no, no, you all can’t call your parents. I sent a text to them using your phone. You all are going on a month’s break with your friends. Please, you can’t contact anyone outside. Godfather can be dangerous,” Darren said.
“But I can call my dad, right? He is very influential,” Barbie said.
“If anyone of you wants to contact your parents, please don’t tell them where you are. You might put them in danger as well,” Darren said.
“Yes, Darren is right. I think it’s better we shouldn’t contact our parents,” Rusty said, and they all nodded.
