Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:
πΈ(His Sweet Torture)πΈ
“That would be all for today, thank you all for making it here,” Alejandro greeted his clients and investors as they wrapped up their meeting.
Stepping out of the boardroom, he bumped into a female employee who looked terrified.
“Mr. Ruiz,” her voice shook as she called his name. “Mrs. Ruiz is…”
Alejandro’s eyes darkened before she could finish. “What happened to my wife, and where is she?” he cut her off, his expression a mix of anger and worry.
“In the office clinic,” the employee replied. Alejandro didn’t ask any more questions and rushed to the clinic.
Camila lay on the bed, a bandage wrapped around her wrist where the snake had bitten her. The doctor checked her vitals, jotting them down in a book.
Alejandro entered, and everyone stopped what they were doing to greet him. He wasn’t phased; his eyes were on Camila, who was sleeping on the bed with her bandaged hand.
He walked toward her, sitting on a small stool and touching her forehead.
“What happened, Thomas? Why is she here?” he asked carefully, staring at Camila’s face.
“The employees rushed her here, reporting a snake bite,” Thomas explained, signaling a male nurse to bring something.
The nurse left and returned with a package, respectfully handing it to Alejandro. Alejandro opened it, his sight darkening at the sight of the dead snake.
“This bit my wife?” He clenched his fist.
“Yes, but there’s no clue who sent it, just a letter saying that’s what she deserves,” Thomas said, staring at Alejandro, who was looking at the letter. He covered it and turned his attention back to Thomas.
“How poisonous is this snake?” he asked.
“It’s deadly, but luckily your wife was brought here in time, and all the venom was extracted from her system. Rest assured, Mr. Ruiz, your wife is in safe hands,” Thomas assured him.
“I hope I can trust you, Thomas. Inform me when my wife wakes up,” Alejandro said before standing up and leaving.
He got to his office and took his telephone. He dialed Diego’s number and called. Diego, who had seen Alejandro walk past his office earlier, shook his head.
This man could walk all the way to the clinic to check on his wife but couldn’t walk a few steps to call him. Diego picked up the call.
“Report to my office immediately,” Alejandro ordered, hanging up as he usually did.
Diego rolled his eyes and went to his office. Alejandro handed him a card.
“I have an assignment for you. I need you to track this handwriting and figure out who sent that package to my wife,” he ordered.
“Yes, boss,” Diego collected the letter.
“You may leave now,” Alejandro dismissed him. Diego nodded and left the office, but outside, he felt a strong urge to throw something at his boss. He overcame it as usual.
“Diego, what’s popping?” Sandra entered his office. “Is Camila awake already?” she asked with a smug look on her face.
“God help you if you’re involved in this. Alejandro won’t spare you this time,” Diego scoffed, sitting down to work on his laptop.
“I wish it was me. You have no idea how much I hate Camila, but I don’t want to get fired, so it wasn’t me. I also hate snakes,” she rolled her eyes, sitting opposite him.
Diego stopped typing to give her a sharp look.
“What?” she asked, blinking innocently.
“I heard it isn’t you, so you can leave now,” he said plainly.
Sandra laughed as if she couldn’t believe what she heard. “You’re sending me away?” she asked incredulously.
“Did I say it backwards?” Diego raised one of his brows in a questioning look.
“I used to come here anytime I wanted, but now that I’ve been demoted, you’re sending me away. So unbelievable,” she angrily stood up and barged out, but came back a second later.
“When you find that person, please thank them for me because I should have done that myself, especially to you,” she added before walking away.
Diego only rolled his eyes and took his phone. He made a call.
“I sent you a picture. I need you to track down the handwriting and its history for me,” he said to the person on the phone.

ROYAL RUIZ MANSION
The alarm clock beside Valeria’s bed woke her up. She took the sleeping mask off her eyes and stretched, her head pounding from last night’s party and drinking.
She stood up and entered the bathroom, staring at her reflection as she used the electric toothbrush. After showering and prepping her face, she threw on her uniform, grabbed her bag and phone.
Her phone flashed, and she checked it. An unknown number had sent her a video. She clicked on it, nearly fainting on the spot.
The most admired girl in Briarwood and the only daughter of the Ruiz family has a flaw, the video caption read.
The video showed a drunk Valeria in just a bra and panties, dancing alone in a room. But that wasn’t her main concern; it was the big scar from her stomach down to her thigh. She quickly turned off the video and began texting.
Who are you?
How much do you want to never show anyone that?
She texted but got no response. Feeling frustrated, she skipped breakfast and rushed to school. Only one person came to mind who could do this.

BRIARWOOD SCHOOL
Isabella arrived and opened her locker to find a chocolate. There was a letter attached to the package, and she opened it.
Sorry I didn’t reply to your messages yesterday, my phone went off. Chocolate to brighten up your day. – Brett.
Isabella smiled and took a bite of the chocolate. She never tired of its sweetness.
“Isa!” Someone called sharply. Isabella looked up to see Valeria looking dangerous, her expression deadly.
“I know it’s you, Isabella. Take it down!” she demanded angrily, her veins popping.
Isabella looked confused. “Take what down?”
“Don’t play with me, Isabella. You sent me that video!” Valeria looked like she was going mad.
“What video? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Isabella still looked confused.
“You’re messing with me, but that’s not gonna happen.” Valeria moved closer, grabbing Isabella’s arms firmly. “I give you 24 hours, or you won’t like the outcome. Don’t play with me, Isabella. You don’t know what I’m capable of,” she threatened.
“Let go of me!” Isabella snatched her hands back, terrified by Valeria’s sudden behavior. “Don’t ever come at me like that, ever,” she added.
“24 hours, Isabella, or your life will become a living hell here!” Valeria warned, angrily storming off.
“Has she lost her mind? What is she talking about?” Isabella wondered aloud.
