She’s just getting back home when Dorothy’s call came in on her phone

Next morning**
Dorothy can’t stop her tears

Raymond decided to go to work today though he dressed casually

He stood beside Emery’s table and ran his hand through it
Tears came out of his eyes and he can’t even control it
He sat on her chair and noticed some dusts on the table
He took some tissue paper and started wiping the table till his fingers hurts but he never stopped
“Emmie” he said slowly, looking at the teddy again….
“Emmie where are you!!!?!” He screamed loudly

They rushed to the office
“I thought I told you not to come, what the hell are you doing here” Blake said, holding him up
” I want to see Emmie please, I really want to see her, I need to check if the baby is kicking Please Blake, just find her for me I beg you” he said in tears
” Raymond please,” Glenn said sadly
He’s really suffering
” Please I need to see her!!!” Raymond screamed again
Blake has no choice
He hit the side of his palm hard on the back of his neck
Raymond went down but he quickly caught him
He lost consciousness
“I’ll take him home, take care Glenn” Blake said, carrying Raymond out of the company…
A week later**
Dorothy picked her ringing phone from the couch and smiled when she saw the caller
“I’m in front of your house now with the package” the voice said
She went to the door and opened it, revealing a guy
He gave her a package in a box and she gave him cash in an envelope
He left after taking a bow
She went in and opened the box
She smiled and took out the content
A sword, it’s not sharpened yet, she ordered the unsharpened one knowingly
She wants to sharpen it herself and teach someone a lesson with it
She brought out the file and started filing it immediately
“I’ll file this for two weeks, then I’ll strike the bitch” she said…
Jocelyn entered a store and hoped not to get caught as usual
But it seems hope is not on her side today
She grabbed snacks and juice inside her backpack and walked to the counter to pay for only the small biscuit she’s holding
“The ones in your bag, are you taking them for free?” The attendant asked
” Huh?”
” So you’re a thief, you think I didn’t see you when you were putting stuffs in your bag?” She replied
Jocelyn kept mute, knowing she has been caught, no doubt
The attendant came out of the stand and held her hair, pulling it hard
“I hate thieves!, I hate them a lot so let’s just say you’re unfortunate for deciding to steal from me, this is my mum’s shop in case you dunno! I’m calling the cops’ she said
Jocelyn cried, hoping a savior will just come
Those shopping in the store has gathered round them
The attendant held her hair with an hand , she picked her phone with another
“What’s happening here?” Doctor Alyssa’s voice said at the entrance
She’s just entering
“Ma’am she stole from us” the attendant replied
Alyssa walked in fully and saw Jocelyn’s face
“Jocelyn?”
“Doctor… please save me” she said in tears…

Two weeks later**
Now a month since the incident and Emery’s pregnancy is gradually protruding
Jocelyn is busy feeding unconscious Emery with oats as usual when she suddenly gasped
Jocelyn dropped the plate and watched her closely…
She gasped again…
“What do I do?” She said worriedly
Emery gasped over and over again and the machine kept beeping
“Emery!, Emery!!!” She called twice, hitting her cheeks slightly
She opened her eyes slowly and stopped gasping, the machine became stable again..
“Emery you’re awake” she said gladly with a big smile on her face
“Magnet?” Emery said
“Yeah it’s me” she replied and helped her sit up .
“Magnet it’s really you?, And I’m not dead?” She said, shedding tears already
” I’ve been sleeping in that skyscraper since I left the orphanage, I saved you from the two devils, you’ve been in coma for a month, and I’ve been keeping you here since then” Jocelyn replied
” Candy heart would have been worried sick, I’m still alive, I’m glad like seriously” she said, letting her tears fall..
She suddenly grabbed her stomach
“My baby!”
“You don’t have to worry Emery, your baby is fine, doctor Alyssa took great care of you both” Jocelyn said
” Doctor Alyssa?”
” I’m sure you’ll meet her soon, I’m just too glad that you’re back Emery, I’m glad you’re talking to me, and please stop crying” Jocelyn said
That only made her cry more
” Thanks for saving me Magnet….” She said
“That name again” Jocelyn said with a pout
” Yes, you always take what’s not yours, isn’t that why we named you Magnet back then in the orphanage?” Emery said, slightly smiling
“Ion think I’ll magnet again” Jocelyn replied
“I’m just glad i met you again… My Magnet I love you… come here sweetheart, and thanks for saving me and my baby once again” Emery said and hugged her tightly…
” Love you Emmie” Jocelyn said
“Call me Emery, Emmie is for only one person” she replied
Jocelyn curved her lips
” I’m jealous” she said
