“Aren’t you going to say something ?” Ashton ask, waiting for Stephanie reply.
She let go of his shirt to take a step back.
“What do you want me to say? I will be lying if I tell you that I feel the same way cause I don’t and I think you are taking things too fast”

“I only agree to come stay with you to help you but if you are going to try to force me to accept your feelings then I’m going to leave”
“You don’t have to!” Ashton said quickly when she made to leave.
“I 4 I won’t force my feelings on you. I had no intention of doing that when I confess my feelings to you. I just wanted you to know how I feel. Please, stay ” Ashton persuade.
The arrival of Fredrick ended whatever reply Stephanie was planning to give him.
” Mommy, daddy! Faye is trying to eat all the chocolates grandpa bought us all ” Frederick complain.
“Isn’t your grandfather there with you guy? Mommy and I are talking” Ashton said to him.
“We can continue this conversation some other time, Ashton. Let’s go downstairs Frederick, let’s go get back the chocolate” she said taking hold of Fredrick’s hand to leave the room.

While Stanley took his bathe, Susan lay on the bed, feeling content after all they’ve been making love for hours.
To be honest, she had think him a little boy which is why she hardly gave him the chance but she’s glad he persisted.
Cause underneath his boyish looks lies a very well made man and he has been showing her just how well made he is.
The ringing of her phone jolt her out of her crazy thoughts and for a while she thought it was her phone but then she realise that it’s Stanley phone which he still had in his pocket.
Sliding out of bed, she rummage his pocket and got out his phone.
She was about calling for him when she notice the caller ID
“Who’s Ashley?” Susan ask feeling jealous.
She didn’t mean to touch the answer button and when she did, She was force to answer.
Susan was about to speak when the Ashley lady said.
“I thought you promised to go get the rings with me today. You and I both know that our engagement will take place, your parent wants it as much as mine do”
Baffled by what Ashley said, Susan end the call.
Engagement? Is Stanley engage to someone else?
Susan thought as she delete the call history so Stanley won’t know she pick his call.
She was back on the bed when Stanley got out of the shower.
“It would have been great if we showered together” Stanley said, wearing just his skimpy briefs.
He got into bed and pull Susan into his arms but she stiffen not being able to respond to him.
“Is something wrong?” He ask and when she would have ask, his phone began to ring again.
He pick up the phone and Susan took a brief look at the caller ID.
On seeing Ashley’s name, Susan wanted him to end the call and tell her everything but instead, he excuse himself to the bathroom just to answer the call.
Susan got out of bed putting on her night dress then she went downstairs just as David and Stella arrive.
“What’s going on?” Susan ask on seeing the suitcase.
“Err…Stella here got into some problem and so, I was hoping she can stay here with us until it’s safe for her” David said.
“What do you mean by problem? Explain things better” Susan said, drawing Stella to the sofa where they told what took place.
“The Internet is on fire about you David” Susan said reading the comments online about David and Stella dating.
“I don’t care about me, I’m more worried about her. My crazy stalker fans might not let her be” David burst out.
“Then why on earth did you claim her in front of the world as your girlfriend?” Susan yell at him.
“Well, I was…angry ”
“You and your anger!” Susan said throwing a pillow at him.
“I don’t want to inconvenience any one of you. I can just book into an hotel and….”
“No! You are staying here. Who knows what those stalker fans might do to you if you stay alone. Just stay here until everything dies down” Susan said to Stella who gave her a smile.
“Take her to the guest room, I will prepare something for you to eat, you must be hungry, right?” Susan ask.
“You don’t have to” Stella said trying to refuse but Susan insist.
With them out of the way, Susan was busy in the kitchen when Stanley join her, fully dressed.
“Leaving?” Susan ask.
“Yes. I hate to leave you sweetheart but I can’t miss this appointment” he said, wrapping his arms around her.
An appointment that has to do with Ashley? Susan thought within her.
“What appointment?” Susan ask, hoping she’d be able to get him to tell her the truth.
“Just company work” he said,lying to her.
“Okay but who phone you at the bedroom? The person must have been important if you had to excuse yourself from me” Susan push, hoping she’d get him to be honest.
“That was my mom. She was just calling to remind me about the visit I promised her, so you don’t have to worry” he lied again and that got moving away from him.
“David is here with a guest. I need to cook for her, I won’t see you out, you can do that yourself ” she said with her back turn on him.
Stanley hesitate a bit before deciding to leave, he gave her a kiss on the cheek and left the house.
