An unknown man can be seen doing something strange to Ashton car before leaving the scene just as Ashton and Stephanie arrive.
“You are acting childish by being rude to David” Stephanie said as she got into his car.
“That wasn’t me being rude. I was simply claiming my territory” Ashton reply as he start the engine.
“What territory? Just because we are getting married doesn’t mean I belong to you, get that into your head, Mr Maverick!” She yell at him.
“And get it into your head that I don’t intend to share you with anyone and if I have to be rude to every guy that looks at you with interest then I am going to, Mrs Maverick!” He return with the same tone and that made Stephanie laugh.
“You really are a funny guy” she said softly as he drive into the main road.
“Being funny isn’t the only thing I’m good at. If you want I can show you more qualities I posses once we get to my place ” he suggest making it sound kinky and naughty.
Stephanie wondered why she felt hot just by his words.
“Thanks but I’m not interested” she said, starring out through the window, putting an end to their conversation.
“What the hell!” Ashton sudden outburst got her starring at him.
“What’s wrong?” Stephanie ask.
“The brake! It isn’t working” Ashton said as he kept stepping on the pedal while driving down the road.
“Do something Ashton or we will die” Stephanie said, scared to wits.
Just then a truck came out of nowhere and In order to get out of it’s way, Ashton turn left which got them driving into a tree leaving the both of them unconscious.

“I told you to only cut the brakes if Stephanie isn’t In the car with him!” Bobby said, giving his henchman a kick.
“I’m sorry boss. I didn’t know she will leave with him” the man said, holding onto his stomach which Bobby kicked.
“You better pray that nothing bad happens to Stephanie or I will kill you myself!” Bobby said as the man quickly left his office.
“What have I done? Please, be okay Stephanie” Bobby mutter as he pick up his phone to make a phone call.
^^ NEXT DAY ~ HOSPITAL ^^
Stephanie woke up to find herself in an unfamiliar room.
Everything that happen within the past twenty four hours came rushing back to her and she sat up, holding her head.
“She’s up” Stephanie heard her aunt say and she look up to see Susan, Stella and David by her side.
“What happen?” Stephanie ask, holding onto her head.
“You were in an accident last night. Luckily you got out of it with just a bruise on your head” Susan told her.
“What about Ashton? He was with me last night, he was driving the car” Stephanie said quickly and Susan hesitate before replying.
“Unlike you he isn’t that lucky. He’s currently in the ICU after having an operation” Susan said.
“The doctor said that his ribs were hurt and then his arm and also he receive a big blow to the head when the accident occur and he hasn’t wake up” David added.
“I need to see him” Stephanie said, getting out of bed, ignoring her family advice for her to stay put.
“I can’t do that. He’s hurt and he needs….he needs someone by his side” Stephanie said overriding their attempt to stop her.
They went with her to Ashton room and as soon as Stephanie walk in.
The first thing she notice is a woman sitting by his bedside, holding onto Ashton hand with tears in her eyes.
“Stephanie” Stanley call on seeing her.
“How is he?” Stephanie ask, ignoring the look the unknown lady is giving her.
“He’s still unconscious and the doctors are watching him since they think this moment is very crucial” Stanley inform.
“Are you Stephanie?” The lady sitting beside Ashton bed ask, wiping her tears away.
“I am and who are you?” Stephanie found herself asking.
“I am Sandy, Ashton wife” she said, introducing herself……
