11PM, KENZIE’S WARD*
Hazel’s face is all puffy and swollen and red, even her throat.
She’s sitting beside Kenzie’s bed, looking like a widow as she stared at Kenzie’s unmoving body in bed.
His face turned completely pale already, even his lips, and he looks horribly sick.
His monitor is barely beeping, and the transfusion of IV to his system has been stopped since his body didn’t take it.
The only thing left right now is for the doctors to announce his demise anytime before daybreak.
Hazel is holding his right hand, and Prada, his loyal dog is sitting beside her, watching him sadly too.
“Do you know you’re a betrayer?” Hazel said as if he’s able to hear her.
“How could you change me this much and then decide to take your leave? I’m sure I did nothing to deserve this. Why are you so cruel to me? How could you tell me you love me yesterday and then decide to take your leave today? What do you want me to do? Kenzie…” She cried bitterly, rubbing his hand.
“How could you do this to me, douche? How could you…how could you do this to me?” She sobbed hotly, the lines streaming down her neck.
“Please open your eyes and talk to me…huh? Tell me you love me again… Kenzie… pl..ease” she sobbed, closing her eyes and hugging that hand.
“Don’t leave me please…stay longer with me… please…” She cried harder when no move came from him, and then his monitor began irregular beeps, scaring her so much.
She spranged up from her seat.
“Kenzie…no you can’t go completely! Kenzie!!” She shook him, and Dr. Dora came back in with her nurses.
“Take her out” she ordered, and two nurses grabbed her.
“No no please… please!! Kenzie!!!!” She screamed madly, struggling with them.
She tried biting, but she was overpowered and finally dragged out, though her screams could still be heard outside clearly.
Dr. Dora got a loaded injection from the tray of one of the nurses, and the moment she turned back to Kenzie, a devilish glint appeared in her eyes.
She smirked secretly, then she brought the syringe to Kenzie’s wrist.
Immediately she took it and made to insert, Kenzie’s eyes flew open, and she was caught off guard when he snatched the syringe from her and tossed her on the bed, sliding his hand on her neck.
She froze completely.
“Caught you, bîtch” he muttered, smirking wide.
FLASHBACK, ITALY ~ A WEEK AGO*
After passing out at the Alphas mansion and getting taken to the hospital, Kenzie woke up six days later, feeling much better.
Immediately he recognized his environment as the hospital, he quickly sat up in bed to see he’s surrounded by the Alpha brothers.
“Shit, how long was I out for?” He muttered.
“Six days” Hardin replied freely,.
“Damn! Hazel” he said, rushing down from the bed.
“You’re suffering from lung cancer? That’s probably what your doctor told you” Killian said from his seat, and he stopped.
“Yeah. Since three years ago” he replied weakly, and Killian scoffed.
“I wanna meet the motherfûcking doctor and waste him” Jordan muttered.
“It’s a female doctor” Kenzie replied.
“So it’s a bîtch” Zade said.
Kenzie looked on in confusion.
“You’ve been fooled, and it was easy since you use only that hospital” Hardin said.
“Meaning?” Kenzie frowned.
Killian snapped his fingers, and a doctor came in.
“Since three years ago, you’ve been getting poisoned by a slow liquid, and the aim is to cut your strength and energy to bits within three years before it’d kill you completely” the doctor explained.
“What the…” Kenzie muttered shockingly.
“What was your issue when you went to the doctor to complain three years ago?” Killian asked.
“It was tummy cramps, and she immediately diagnosed me with cancer. She gave me the pills to take daily if I wanna prolong my lifespan” Kenzie explained.
“I believe the slow poison is part of the pills you’ve been taking for three years” the doctor replied, and Kenzie sat back…
More shock.
“Don’t pass out, dude” Hardin said.
“But there’s an interesting part to it” the doctor continued, and he looked up.
“To finalize the action of the poison when it eats deep into you, she’d inject you with potassium, and you’d be gone for life” he said, and Kenzie smirked.
“Dr. Dora…”
“Did you break her heart for trophy before? Bîtch is mean” Jordan said.
“Never fuçked her before” Kenzie replied, fisting his palms ragingly.
“You should play her a bit, I think. Be the only one to direct and act the drama, but your family and the love of your life will have to cry” Killian said.
“I know what to do” Kenzie stood.
“With the deposit of poison in your system, it’d be hard to bounce back to normal. It might take another three years to stop bleeding ” the doctor said.
“I don’t care, so far I don’t die” Kenzie replied.
“Good then” Hardin shrugged, and Kenzie stood.
Hardin patted his shoulder fondly, and Kenzie smiled slightly.
“I’m your godfather from now on. You’re Zinnia’s junior brother” Hardin winked.
Kenzie couldn’t help but smile again as they left the ward together
The other three brothers followed behind, and Kenzie folded his fists.
“Dora…” He muttered.

Dr. Dora’s eyes are still so wide in their sockets as she stayed frozen under Kenzie’s chokehold.
More doctors poured into the ward, then everyone else.
“I know something seemed off” Lord Steel muttered with a scoff.
“Kenzie!” Hazel gasped, covering her mouth shockingly.
All eyes are widely open in utter shock.
Dr. Dora gulped fearfully again, and Kenzie smiled with a side of his face.
“You might wanna start talking now, or I’ll ram this syringe into your damn heart”
