Julia cleaned her eyes couple of times. She might have had too many drinks that she was starting to see double. What was he doing here? She thought as she stared at him unbelievably.
“Julia?” He also looked surprised, like he wasn’t expecting to see her again at all.
He was real and he was here. She wasn’t seeing double. Julia stood feeling shocked but she can’t last here for the next thirty seconds. She ran off to the bathroom to lock herself.
“Julia” She could hear the faint voice of Aime shouting her name but she needed to get away. She came to look at her reflection in the mirror.
She wasn’t dreaming. Romeo was right there, standing tall and alive. He was part of the reason why she became scared to be alone because he left her in cold blood.
“He can’t be here” She says to herself before shutting her eyes tight. “He is my past and I don’t care about him anymore. He is my past and I don’t care about him anymore” She said to herself repeatedly till she felt strong enough to step outside.
“Julia” Romeo was waiting for her in front of the exit out of the restroom.
Julia tried walking past him but he held her by the elbow. “It’s me Romeo” He says.
“I know” She mumbled.
“How have you been Julia?” He then asks.
Julia stared at him coldly before taken a deep breath. He hurt her in the past but it’s in the past. The only thing she was worried about his getting Jake to believe everything that happened between them was real and not a bet, Romeo don’t mean anything, not anymore.
“I’m fine” She responded with a sigh.
“I’m glad, you know I never thought I’d see you again and I’ve thought of you ever since that night I -”
“Cut it out Romeo, I’ve long forgotten about it and I don’t hate you anymore. Besides what happened between us was in the past, we were both young and it was good while it lasted but it don’t matter anymore, it doesn’t mean anything” She cut him off.
Something changed in his eyes, like hurt.
“It doesn’t mean anything anymore?” He asked sadly.
“It’s been such a long time, long enough to hold on to some childhood fantasy and besides I’m going through a breakup. Can you not add to my stress?” Julia replied in a pleading tone before waking away.
Romeo only grabbed one thing from what she said. She was going through a breakup meaning she’s single and he can prove to her that what happened between them still meant something.
He turned back to see Julia talking with her friends. Nothing changed about her, she still looked pretty like the sunflower and smelled like strawberry. She is still his Julia, his alone to keep.
“My love, I will never let you go” He mumbled to himself.

BRYAN’S APARTMENT •••
Bryan’s sleep was cut short when someone won’t stop knocking on his door. He sat on his bed with a tired look before going to get the door.
“Rico what are you doing here again? Don’t you have your own place?” Bryan creased his brows as he asked.
“I got suspended from playing the next game” Rico said.
“Why?” Bryan asked and shut his eyes a little. “Why are you telling me?” He asked again.
“Because if you come to think of it, you’re my only friend” Rico replied.
“I’m you’re brother” Bryan sighed.
“Twin brother Bryan and twin should be able to have each other’s back, shouldn’t they?” Rico gave him a daring look before Bryan accepted defeat.
“Come in” He sighed and made space for Rico to get in. Rico stepped in and sat on the chair.
“You know why I fought with my teammate?” Rico asked and Bryan shook his head negatively.
“He tried to harass me when I was sleeping” Rico told him.
Bryan’s eyes widened a little. “Jay is gay?” He looked surprised.
“I was as surprised as you when I found out. Then he threatened to tell everyone about us and I don’t know how he found out about it” Rico added.
“That boy is really something, he might be equally as crazy as us” Bryan muttered with a little chuckle.
“Or maybe more” Rico rolled his eyes.
Bryan sighed. “You know when you asked about Aime, if she knows? I actually told her” He confessed.
“You told her?” Rico’s eyes widened.
“I trust her with my life Rico. I was just tired of pushing her away with the thought I hurt her so I had to tell her” Bryan explained.
“And she didn’t shu you away?” Rico asked with a surprised look.
“Everyone aren’t the same Rico. She didn’t and she isn’t afraid of me either infact she’s helping me. Whenever I’m with her, I feel so calm like I don’t even need to take my medicine when she’s my medicine” Bryan talked like he forgot his brother was with him.
“You’re gone men, you must really like that girl” Rico mumbled.
“You can’t imagine bro” Bryan smiled.
“Makes me wonder if I am ever capable of loving someone or if someone would ever love me like Aime loves you” Rico sighed and leaned his head backwards.
Bryan held his shoulders. “Love will always come when it’s meant to be. I might be now, it might be ten years later but when it comes, even you can’t stop it”
Rico only just rolled his eyes, not taking him serious.
