๐ซ Addicted To You Chapter SIXTY THREE: ๐
ROMEO'S MANSION
โYay! I scored again!!โ Alvin rejoiced after scoring another goal.
Him and Juliet were both at the garden, playing soccer since Alvin had no classes today.
โYou're really good at itโ Juliet picked the ball and walked to him.
โI really wish I had a mom who would play with me this wayโ Alvin smiled.
โReally?โ Juliet sat down on the swing.
โYeah! On the norms I'm supposed to be sulking right now, just the way I do every year. You know tomorrow is my birthday, the day my mom left usโ Alvin smiled sadly
โI'm sorryโ Juliet patted her hair.
โI'm sure dad is in his room drinking and each time he does that, he always hurt himself. Can you help him too?โ Alvin held her hand.
Juliet sighed.
โAlvin, you know I and your dad don't really see eye to eyeโ Juliet said
โPlease Best dudeโ Alvin muttered, at the verge of tears.
Juliet sighed and nodded.
โI'll tryโ She said and Alvin smiled then hugged her.
Juliet left him then walked in the house. A naughty grin formed on Alvin's lips.
โI wonder why it's taking time for them to fall in loveโ He thought inwardly.
Juliet stopped in front of Romeo's room then brought her hand up to knock but paused and brought it back down.
โWhy I'm I even doing thisโ Juliet groaned and gently knocked.
The door opened, revealing Romeo. He had a sour look on his face as he looked at her blankly.
โWhat?โ He asked and as expected, Juliet could perceive the odor of alcohol when he spoke.
โIโฆ Came to keep you companyโ Juliet muttered, looking away.
โI don't-โ
Before Romeo could finish speaking, Juliet already walked in. Romeo sighed and closed the door then walked to the cellar to resume drinking.
โCool room, I bet this room is the size of my houseโ Juliet said with her hands in his pocket, walking boyishly
โI'm not in the moodโ Romeo muttered, pouring himself a glass.
He made to drink it but Juliet held his hand, stopping him.
โIt's really unhealthy to drink this wayโ Juliet said.
โYou're not my mum. Nor myโฆ wifeโ Romeo said the last statement slowly.
Juliet shrugged and sat down on the stool opposite him.
โIf that's so then I'm drinking with you thenโ Juliet said and poured the liquor in the glass.
Romeo ignored her then resumed drinking. Each time he'll pour a glass, Juliet will do same.
It took just 30 minutes for both of them to be drunk. Juliet stood up from the stool and staggered back.
She removed the coat of the suit she was wearing then tossed it off, dragging her tie loose.
โWhy is everybody dancing?!โ Juliet staggered up, her eyes wavering.
โWhy did you drink with me.. Thought you hate meโ Romeo asked and hiccuped.
โOf course I hate you! But a painful or sad moment shared becomes less painfulโ Juliet giggled.
Romeo giggled too.
โShe was really my everything. We had plans of growing old together and make so many memories. Each time I see Alvin crying because of how his friends bvlly him it just breaks me moreโ Romeo said.
